Life and Business Lesson Learned on My Photographic Journey

I’ve been a professional photographer for more than 12 years, but where I am now is now where I expected to be 20 years ago. After discovering photography in high school, I decided to join the US Navy after graduation. I was worried that turning my passion into a profession would take away the joy of photography. However, during my time in the military I found my way back to photography, and each step I took towards that path brought me closer to living a life I could have only dreamed of. In this session, I share my journey on how I discovered and learned photography, what I did to grow my business, and what I am doing now to continue working as a full-time professional photography educator.
